The wireless meter reading module is divided into the meter reading module and other meter reading modules from the aspect of power supply. From the functional aspect, the wireless meter reading module is divided into a concentrator module, a collector module, a relay module and a meter module. The concentrator module is the core of the entire network meter reading module, used to count and control the entire network. Choose according to the size of the customer's network. Generally, domestic electricity meter customers use concentrator modules, relay modules and meter-end modules to form larger networks. Need to comply with State Grid standards. The most common one is the DL645 protocol. Q/GDW 376.2-2009 "Communication Protocol of Power User Information Collection System: Concentrator Local Communication Module Interface Protocol" has a special description of the interface. Other meter reading customers are more flexible in combination and do not necessarily adopt the State Grid standard.



The wireless meter reading module uses the wireless remote data transmission module. (The module has an automatic avoidance function. When it is detected that a module is sending data, it will not send it by itself. The sending function will not start until no other modules are sending data. The sending data will be sent. , To avoid interference.) The wireless module is connected to the collector and the base station. It is used to collect the readings of the electric meter and store and wait for transmission. The module is in sleep state most of the time, but it automatically wakes up every time for a period of time to detect the outside world. Whether there is a wake-up signal (mainly used for the collector to copy data), if a wake-up signal is detected, it will be awakened and wait for the next instruction to perform related operations. If there is no wake-up signal, it enters the sleep state again. In this way, the power consumption of the wireless module is very low, and if it is powered by a battery, it can reach 1 to 3 years.
