The magnetic separator developed by Jingju company is a high permeability magnetic sheet with absorbing material (composite soft magnetic alloy powder + resin). It is a functional body to improve and enhance the performance of RFID and NFC coil in metal conductor environment. It is also the key technology auxiliary material of anti-interference in 13.56MHz frequency band. Its magnetic conductivity energy is very strong because of its ultra-high permeability, which can change the electromagnetic signal To avoid the interference and attenuation of metal conductor.

RFID / NFC coil module in a non-metallic and non-magnetic object on the propagation of electromagnetic field is basically not affected, or according to the original direction, equivalent to electromagnetic wave propagation in free space, so the energy and direction of electromagnetic field are not disturbed. When a metal plate with good conductivity is attached to the RFID / NFC coil module, the direction of its magnetic line of force changes greatly. It is mainly manifested in the change of magnetic field before and after the metal plate, which is the so-called shielding phenomenon. Because there is no magnetic field behind the metal plate, the eddy current generated by the metal plate will lead to an electromagnetic field opposite to the direction of the incident electromagnetic field, thus weakening the magnetic field of RFID / NFC coil module, or even completely offsetting the original magnetic field. In the direction of the incident electromagnetic field, the surface of the metal plate with high magnetic conductivity can effectively provide an effective path for the transmission of magnetic field. Therefore, due to the existence of the magnetic separator, the eddy current effect of the metal plate is effectively avoided. By inserting high permeability magnetic separator between coil and metal surface, eddy current can be avoided to a great extent, thus RFID / NFC coil module can be safely used on metal surface. It should be noted that the inductance of the loop antenna will increase significantly due to the high permeability of the magnetic separator, so that the resonant frequency needs to be adjusted to match the antenna.
